It didn’t feel real which was kind of disappointing. The traumatic childhood angle seemed kind of forced as if the character needed something like a bad past so let’s add that to the story. No one likes that stuff happening and looking at the main character doing that sets a negative impression of him.

The way Josh reacted to the truth Jules told him was very very bad. Their normal talks sound like they both are annoyed with each other. His relationship with Alex is amazing and funny. Well, the most normal man in this book series. Josh Chen is a very interesting character. This book’s Jules was very different from previous ones. It has shown how bad things were with her in the past. Jules Ambrose, I loved her character in the previous book because of her carefree (or careless) and funny behaviour. It made things so predictable like you can guess when and how they’ll gonna fall for each other. It was good in the very beginning but when they got into the arrangement thing it was a huge turn-off. I expected funny and hilarious scenes in the book which are there and I loved that part of the book.

Sometimes they are irritating and sometimes they are hilarious. I loved the banter between Josh and Jules. Theirs is a match made in hell, and when the demons from their past catch up with them, they’re faced with truths that could either save them or destroy everything they’ve worked for.
